If a project takes awhile, there is a good chance I will lose interest and start planning something else. That’s why I thought peel and stick shiplap would be a good fit for me. THIS IS PEEL AND STICK SHIPLAP?!!? I know!! I still can’t believe it either. This was the perfect choice for me as it was completed before I had time to start planning something else. I chose the white classic shiplap. It comes painted. It was so easy to apply. You measure and cut to the right length. Peel off the back and stick it up. They have a special roller you use on top to roll it and make sure the bond is tight. These are meant to be permanent.
I can’t believe the huge difference the shiplap made. I love that there are no nail holes to cover up and there was no painting to do. Keep scrolling to see the before pictures…
Bathroom before the remodel:
Bathroom during the remodel:
We took off the bead-board that was around half of the bathroom. We patched the walls and gave it a quick coat of paint so the shiplap would have something to adhere to.
Bathroom after the remodel:
My family is completely shocked by the difference it made. Our half bath feels so much more modern, bright and airy. It’s just what I was hoping for.
