List of all the things I used:
Please note the sea glass color of spray paint is not see through. I got this color for my daughters Easter basket and decided to try it on this and it turned out to be the perfect patina color. I also keep the Gilders wax on hand and have used it on several projects to add dimension and make my pieces look antique. My total for this project was $30.00. My husband affixed them to the wall with finishing nails.
Technique:
I started by spray painting half of one of the door knobs and then quickly blotted the paint back off with a damp rag. I then repeated on the other half. I let that dry for about 20 minutes and then used my fingers to wipe the gold wax on the high points. Super easy, fast and cheap! Just the way I like it.
